I was in my 20s the first time someone mentioned the "brand of me." I was sitting in the courtyard of Blue Jeans at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center and my boss, George White was chairing a seminar on how to protect yourself as a performer. This was long before we all became freelancers and used social media became the main form of communication. The message then as now, is an important one.
In the world we are living with companies taking up less responsibilities and individuals becoming more and more engaged, it is so important to manage your brand.
