Good morning Creative Signature community. 

Happy Thursday — and if you are in London, the heat is still here. The fans are still on. And it is still somehow completely beautiful.

Something worth paying attention to happened in New York last night. At the first-ever TIME100 AI Leadership Forum, leaders from music, fashion and entertainment sat on stage and said what the creative world needed to hear out loud — AI cannot replace the distinctly human parts of the creative process. It can help you go deeper, move faster, shorten the distance between idea and execution. But the human part? That stays human.

And Canva just released their 2026 design trends report — and the headline stopped me. They are calling 2026 the Year of Imperfect by Design. A 90% surge in DIY-inspired searches. A 527% surge in lo-fi aesthetic searches. 80% of creators saying this is the year to regain creative control — embracing AI as a partner while prioritising styles that feel human.

Read that again.

The world is not searching for perfect. It is searching for human. Raw. Personal. Imperfect. Unmistakably yours.

That is the Creative Signature in a single data point.
